Day 15

Read: 2 Nephi 14-18

Mark: 2 Nephi 15:20-21

“Today’s popular entertainment often makes what is evil and wrong look enjoyable and right. Let us remember the Lord’s counsel: ‘Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.’ Pornography, though billed by Satan as entertainment, is a deeply poisonous, deceptive snake that lies coiled up in magazines, the Internet, and the television.”
~ Elder David E. Sorensen

What helps you to see things for what they really are?

Day 16
Read: 2 Nephi 19-23

  1. Here is my confession: I usually skip any chapter which contains 'compare to Isaiah' in the chapter heading. I read them this time. Wish I could say that I learned something... alas, I read but the mind was clearly not involved in the process. Looking forward to something else. That is terrible. I should delete it.

  2. No...I love the honesty!! Those chapters are hard on everyone!! At least you are caught up on the reading. I started late...so I'm still behind :)

  3. I was just saying the same thing to Alan the other night. After we got thru ready the chapter I said "Did you know what that said?" Not very well versed on Isaiah.
